    The official download link was updated July 14th. With it naval recruitment is activated mate.

    Can't buy ships :-( playing the newest version. When i try to buy a ship, there stands a -1 in the building time!

    Version 1.2 is released

    The naval recruitment bug have been fixed.

    Battle performance is greatly increased. You will get way more frames per second with this version.

    New Loading Screens have been added.

    Will you ever 'mess' with diplomacy? I think that's the worst part in ETW and it need some tweaks.

    1st of all this mod is great and so promising.

    i encountered a bug in the latest release that some ship types names is missing"for example playing with Spain, when i select a port to build a galleon...the icon of the galleon is present but the word "galleon" is missing"

    hope to fix it

    Just played a World Domination campaign as Sweden. Empire sure is a much better game now that it's not crashing every other round. Overall it was fine, with only minor complaints about the campaign AI - the big issue was the battle AI. Completely worthless. I never lost if the army wasn't outnumbering me by two to one or had vastly superior troops. So it is with excitement that I will try this mod out with the Ottoman Empire!

    Thanks for feedback guys. This project will build up on your feedback. We try together to get a better gameplay with every version.
    Btw the settings for a campaign should be hard for battles and hard or very hard for campaign difficulty. It´s balanced this way.

    With the next update there will be a massive graphic overhaul.
    This happens to menues, loading screens, battle ui, campaign ui etc.
    But thats not all, there will bestill gameplay improvements and it is planned to add re-textures of vanilla units aswell.

    For this version a new website will be opened, the style i´ve used there will influence the mentioned graphical overhaul ingame. The website is not up yet but i can give out a preview image:

    Might I suggest making an AUM compatible version somewhere along the lines? I always enjoyed having a little variety in my armies. I'm not suggesting it for the next release or anything, just sometime in the future would be nice.

    I suggest getting more features like the Fort mod (disabling fort battle or change all of them to wooden forts), artillery mod making artillery reload faster and hopefully more stuff from darthmod.
    I really love this game with darthmod installed, but the darth effects just cause too much performance issues to my game. I am looking forward to more changes and features added into the mod.

    somehow its not working for me. I followed the instruction and click the load.bat everything seems to be fine ...but nothing has changed ingame same loading screen though.Anyone can help me?

    Half of the cities have forts,other half-no.Smoke is bad.

    Have you installed other mods since you have installed your ETW?
    Maybe your script folder is missing. This way the user_script cannot be copied and the modfiles doesn´t work really.

    @ Prine: Don´t know why the smoke have a bad appeareance for you. The fort part is not fully done yet. But with later versions then which get´s also a new campaign file.

    Maybe need additional units pack, limit for fleet units and music pack.
