I just downloaded this and it's working great. I really like the look of this mod and performance-wise (particularly in battle) it seems very smooth compared to other mods I've tried (I don't have the fastest system so things like DME 8.0 aren't really practical for me). I'm looking forward to playing a campaign with it to see how things go, but I have a couple of early questions:
1. What's up with the 8000 extra income that I seem to get no matter which faction I choose to play? I can understand giving the AI extra cash, but I feel like I'm gonna clobber them if I've got all this extra dough...particularly with the extra recruitment slots I see in a lot of the cities.
2. What's up with being able to recruit random new ships right at the start of the game (for instance race-built galleons as Britain)? Is this by design or is it a glitch?
Anyway...so far it looks interesting and well-thought out so I'm going to get at it in-depth and see.
@defaz
You can change the extra income using the db editor, just load enchanced.pack and go to 'campaign_variables_tables\campaign_variables' and its the variable 'faction gdp_other'.
This is what I did, because I agree it is a promising mod that doesn't change too much (which I like), but the extra income makes it a little easy.
Hi I was wondering if you could please help me with an issue? The mod is great but for some reason the smoke starts to turn into squares and rectangles if I have a certain number of troops on the field. In order for the smoke to work properly, I always have to fight tiny battles, otherwise it ruins the game because the squares from smoke and explosions just make it look too unrealistic. I really need help with this. I've tweaked some of the game files to my liking as well, but I had this problem before I tweaked the game files. Please help! Thanks
Hi!
Just increase the graphic quality settings in the game options.

I tried but I'm still having problems with it; mostly in campaign battles. I turned up the particle effects to ultra (everything else was on ultra already) and it worked fine in custom battles; but in campaign it still has that strange square-ish effect.
Here's an example of the problem:

Please re upload if you can
I'm sure an update is getting prepared, but in the meantime you could try the strategy informer download:

It works for me but I too get square smoke.
were do i download this
Please make available if possible.
Hello,
Are you currently working on an update for this mod, if so, could you make an AUM compatible version please
Thanks
I've downloaded V1.1 but I have the naval recruiting problem. Shokh has fixed it with Version 1.2 but I cannot find a link to download it anywhere. I would be very grateful if someone can provide me with it.
Thanks in anticipation.
I love this mod, but it has one major problem. The muskets shoot out "squares" of smoke. Is that because of the BSM you have with the mod? Could you possibly upload a version without this mod?
Not sure anyone out there is listening! I put my graphics up to very high and it cured the smoke problem. Don't suppose you have a download link for V1.2 as I've got the naval recruitment bug in V1.1
Can somebody please rpovide the 1.2 download link as my British Army is stuck without on mainland Britain without a Royal Navy! Thankyou![]()
