Ok whoa man I was just dropping by to see if there was an update yet and that wasn't cool. XD

"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you..."
woke me up ... geez emmm I like remade Byzzies, inclusion of Crusaders(even though they die), emergent factions(Mongols/Teutonic Order), etc
Holy Shnitzerdoodle. I was about to go to sleep. My fav is everything. Right now I am loving the Norwegion troops. Their helmits just make me want to go raping and plundering. Not in reality of course.
Got nothing...
now that Rome II is announced, SS is going to be truly RIP soon?
Rome II won't slow me down, and Empire certainly hasn't (not bothering with Napoleon or Shogun 2). At the moment, Medieval II is the latest Total War game with a great level of moddability. It went way down with Empire - only in the last month has anyone been able to add a town to a region in the game (not a new region along with a region capital, just a town in a pre-existing region, and while it's a milestone, it has been far harder to customise than any of the previous titles, even the first Medieval). Unless Rome II can offer everything Medieval II offers, and more - especially in terms of moddability - Stainless Steel will likely reign supreme in the hearts of many.
Certainly mods like SS and Deus Lo Vult - including their prospective submods - are very hard acts to follow with what they add into the game. This isn't to mention all the other mods out there. A Medieval III would have to try very hard to win my heart, and it probably won't happen. Pretty pictures don't win me over. I'm the guy who purchased Oblivion last Christmas to discern whether I would ever want to even try Skyrim or not, and only for £3.74...and I'm happy to wait until Christmas when the price is knocked down.

Shut up, you are the one that slowed down two months the mod with your evilness
Actually, six. There were two threads, three months a piece. Then there is the fact that I am creating a submod for SS 6.4, so I'm sure you can understand my reluctance to allow SS 6.4 to become redundant. I'm certain others will sympathise. I'm even tempted to form a union of submodders who will campaign for 7.0 to be delayed as long as possible to allow us to release our submods fully, preventing any work from going to waste.
*In the case that the faceless nature of an internet forum betrays my meaning, I am jesting. I am evil, but not THAT evil as to delay the release of a mod. I stop at helping my tropical freshwater fish subjugate all inferior air-breathing and finless species.
