    Default Incompatible versions error help?

    Hey guys,
A buddy of mine and I installed NTF recently but when we go to play it, the client cannot join the host due to an incompatible versions error. We both have the exact same version. Any suggestions? (We are on Multiplayer -> all Emergent as a campaign game.) Thanks!

The first report (gorebane) had not logged in Steam before starting NTF. Also both of you have added a command in user script for NTF which you should not so remove it.

I've been reading all of the recommendations for mollifying the game. But I don't quite understand it, could you please help me? I'll be sure to pick up my own side of the slack. I installed a mod sometime ago, but since I couldn't fix the incompatible version error, I gave up on it for some time. But now I want to play it, I deleted the mod files, but I can't play multi-player or co-op battles. What should I do? I've verified and downloaded it plenty of times, but it still doesn't work. I originally bought it on the disk with a steam code, even that it won't work. Thanks for your notice, and time.
