HOI2 - Darkest Hour - Arms, Armistice and Revolutions Mod

Hallo Forum,

I bought my PC in 2007 and that's why I mostly play "old" games. I see no use in buying new ones, because I do not have much time to play anyways, as I am studying and I rather play offline. The best HOI2 Game I have ever played is "Darkest Hour" . It is a devolopers' mod, which starts the game in 1914 and you must fight WWI. Unfortunately the game's triggers end in 1920. WHAT A LET DOWN!

But let me tell you: Somebody had an awesome idea and created a mod, which made a 1914-1942 scenario possible: The Arms, Armistice and Revolutions Mod

The game is now scripted from 1914-1942 (or maybe even later?) straight! New Generals pop up and... yes... I think that's about it. I cannot complain about anything really at this mod.

It wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I found out about that mod and I was "beating" the game as Romania about 7 days ago. I changed the end date to 1970 but after 1946 I lost interest to continue from there as I had beaten the Soviet Union and America had conquered all Europe. No more enemies to fight, without gettin' my ass handed to me on a plate.

If you have never heard of Hearts of iron, check out "Hearts of Iron: Darkest Hour" - it is only 10 bucks on amazon - and it contains both the Doomsday and Armageddon Addons, plus (of course) the Darkest hour mod. It is - from my own perspective - the best release of the HOI series and with the AAAR mod the best game i have played so far!
