Icon4 Mod for vanilla gameplay + new units ?

    Hi,
Do you know a mod that adds new units to medieval 2 gameplay ?
I mean the central europe units - something more than armoured sergants and spear militia.

I care mostly for statistics (slight variations), but new models and graphics would be welcome too.

I know many great mods like Deus Lo Vult that change the units as well as evrything else,
but I like the original map o M2 and gameplay - I'm just bored with playing the same units all the time and looking for some variety..

    Thanks for your advice!

    F

The perfect mod for you would be Retrofit Mod with GUAM.
guam is 'grand unit add on mod' - it adds all the units from kingdoms, plus 'new' units - not like brand spanking new, but something like Sergeant Swordsmen.

Its not that big of a mod download wise, and changes very little from original M2tw campaign except the units and some minor things...

    you need Kingdoms expansion however.

IF you don't have the expansion, you should give Darth Mod a try - even if you have Kingdoms you can try this one, its one of the best m2tw mods ever made.

I also think the retrofit is what your looking for however if you ever get bored with vanilla gameplay try out the Stainless Steel mod under kingdoms hosted modifications, new factions, revamped map of europe, tons of new units, new event, it has it all.
