Icon4 Issue with Rivers meeting the sea:

Ok, so here is my problem:
I've been editing .tga files for a new campaign map I've been building, and I've come up with an issue where rivers are not joining on to the sea properly. The rivers are lined up correctly with the coast in the features.tga and heights.tga files. I can't think of why this could be happening, any suggestions?

Here is a screen of what I mean:

Are you sure they are long enough in map_features.tga?

Well, here is a screen-shot of the the _features.tga and the map it generates, with the river not connected to the sea.

    river

As you can see, the river pixels are flush with the edge of the height map.
Here is another screen-shot showing what happens when the river is extended slightly:

    extended river

Now the river connects with the sea, but also extends into the sea itself, which is still wrong.
Not sure what else I can do at this stage.

Ok, I appear to have solved it. The problem was that, since _heights.tgs is actually double the resolution of the _features.tga, there were some pixels overlapping and the two maps weren't synched properly. So I just overlaid the _features.tga over the _heights.tga, and edited the heightmap to fit the rivers. Simple as.
