WHY support the Stormcloaks?

I know this does not contribute to either side, but which armour do you think looks coolest? Just purely speculating as it doesn't amount to anything, but I like the look of Imperial armour more. I mean, the Stormcloak armour does look cool, but I like red more than blue and I think the Imperial Helmet looks cooler. When it goes to officers I like the Imperial armour more as well. It is close between the lower ranks for me and I only like the Imperials more really for the colour scheme and helmet, but at officers the Stormcloak Officer's armour doesn't look like it would give you much protection whereas the Imperial Officers have armour that I think looks like if gives you a lot of protection. Of course, walking around with that bear-like armour for the Stormcloaks it pretty cool .

i supported them because in the beginning of the game i didnt listen rolaf or the imperial guy... i just followed rolaf... with no idea

my Altmer supports the Stormcloaks in the hope that the war of the empire and altmery dominion will continue.
because it will dishonour white-gold concordat, so it gives the altem claimes to attack again
