Default Worst court web site ever.

    http://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/Pay/18916.htm

Trying to look up my case and pay a traffic ticket that I got in Las Vegas. This website is hilariously bad and ended up calling them and doing it over the phone.

    https://secure2.lasvegasnevada.gov/m...rtPayment.aspx

    That form is particularly hilarious.

Lost the ticket when I was moving so I was trying to look it up then pay the fine but their search engine is non existant. Meanwhile the county court site has a search engine that I can look up every case by number or the defendants name.

This city brings in a ton of tourist revenue you think they could at least hire some college intern from UNLV to design a site for them.
    I am far more reasonable.

    My computer stopped working

Lack of discussion and instead simple attacks shows that you have been proven wrong.

LA's website is almost as bad.

Seriously, is there some law that passed in 1994 that forbade American states from updating their websites or whatever?

In view of our divine essence, we need only liberty and work; in view of our mortal nature, we need for our direction a guide and a support. You think that's bad? Take a look at my county court site.
And the municipal court site has a design of generic blog. In fact, all local courts have the same design because they're part of the network. And apparently the person who designed the sites only attended first hour of basic web design class.

Well, but that is the site of the Ministry of Justice, you know, the "public face" of it. The one I posted was the internal one.

The "public face" of our Ministry of Justice is much better looking too.

Government sites are well known for being old fashioned and complicated. But there is little impetous to change, so they won't.
