    Icon5 [SOLVED] A solution to remove units recruitment limit? -> instructions and links

    First: this is a awesome mod, the best of all the TW's modifications for me! secondly : excuse me for my poor English, i am Belgian^^
    All is in the title: one submod/solution exist to remove units recruitment limit in the ACW 3.3 campaign?

    Is it possible to change the maximum amount of times you can recruit a unit?

    if you have time, you can do it yourself.

    instructions
    download pack file manager 1.5.3.
    Search for the file bg_db.pack
    open it and scroll to DB then look for units tables
    Then scroll right and look for the header unit limit

    download pack file manager 1.5.3.
    Search for the file bg_db.pack with PFM
    open it and scroll to DB (open) then look for units tables
    Then scroll right and look for the "header" unit limit

    Impossible, when i must add the requiered tables to my new .pack file , this error message appear:

    One other solution? This is faisable with Db editor?
    ... Or can you make this little mod for me and send to me?

    Because to be able to mod correctly this game, it is certainly necessary to work to the NASA...^^

    No, I do not mean "modding" its just that in the campaign it says that I have recruited the Irish Brigade several times as the Confederacy. It says that I have already recruited 2/3 of the Irish Brigade when really I haven't recruited 1 regiment of them, the reason I created a separate thread is because I haven't gotten an answer in the Campaign Issues thread.

    Ican make it. You only have to edit one table. do you want me to double, triple, quadruple unit sizes or somethings else

    that's an interesting "bug" you have...could be some conflict in the files or something like that... although I haven't noticed it myself I have to admit.

    No, you have not understand my question: i want not size units increase, but in the campaign too many units (except that militia and volunteers) is not illimited to recruiting... and thus the mod loses many of its fun. This is not fun to have only +-10 cavalry units for all the big map of america...

    I hope that you understand what i want say ^^ and... i have try to modding with some crappy programs (DBeditor, etc...,etc... unit_stats, etc...) and thats not work, from my part :/

    Yesyes, i am a noob but thats is not the question, i want to take advantage just completely of this mod

    Post Hoc answered it, and there can be no other answer.
    download pack file manager 1.5.3.
    Search for the file bg_db.pack
    open it and scroll to DB then look for units tables
    Then scroll right and look for the header unit limit

    Hi

    I'm trying to change the maximim unit limit om several units in the campain.

    I'm using DBEditor but it seems to be unable to find the core file for ACW.

    Can anyone help me?

    The unit_table is inside bg_db.pack. If you cannot enter it use a newer version of DBEditor or PFM.
