The wiki runned by westeros.org (their founders actually do collaborate directly with GRRM, so they are very credible) says that the wall is 300 miles long.

I added something of substance, how GRRM feels about measuring the world based on the wall.I can find the quote if you want, when I have time of course.

No matter how GRRM feels, he has given the size repeatedly in his books. If anything, the globular nature of his world (also attested to by the man himself) means that the south is actually larger than it appears. If he wants to make Westeros smaller he has to rewrite the finished books.

I think that the gifts to the watch were very specific. Each is 25 leagues wide, by royal decree. The wall, too, is unlikely to be constantly overstated. GRRM can't make Westeros smaller.

Note that it's the accepted fact that Westeros is about as big as South America, even with exaggerations.

It's a bit silly to claim that. He repeatedly said he is not quite happy about a number of things in the books concerning time lines or sizes so you better hope is not pulling a George Lucas on you. I don't expect him to, but he could.

If he pulls a George Lucas, that doesn't change the books read by us. It changes the books for new readers. It'll probably end badly and not-accepted by many fans.

Just found out Iwan Rheon is slated to play Ramsey. Liked him a lot in Misfits and judging by his character in that show he should pull it off wonderfully.(Creepy gaze and everything)

The production value of military equipment is falling every season. The only half-reasonable troops shown were the Baratheon men, but even then, uniform is hardly something viable for a feudal army. The Lannister gear makes me want to vomit.

I like the Lannister gear. Stop being so picky, its meant to relate to European feudal armour but not be a direct copy of it, we have to believe we are in another reality.

Not in the books it's not. In the books, they all have more or less RL gear.

Also, there is no such thing as feudal armor.
