The Americas

I'm sorry if this has already been explained, but I tried looking around for the answer and couldn't find anything. I recently downloaded and installed the latest version of RMK. I started a new campaign and disabled the map fog so that I could look at the Americas. There's nothing there, or is there? I've seen people talking about "controlling" the Americas and conquering settlements over there, but I don't see any settlements. Was this feature taken away or can I still go to the Americas and take it over?

if you want to conquer americas,you shall conquer a settlement named Reykjavik in Iceland (just search it by yourself)
after you conquer it,you will control all america:Stupid right?

America is out of the game so the stupid thing is to conquer it

You can still play the old version though. Just rename your RM Kingdoms folder and reinstall 3.0 if you have overwritten it.

EDIT: By all accounts though, I wouldn't recommend it. RMK3.1 is superior in all respects.

I never had version 3.0, 3.1 is the first version I've tried. I'd really prefer to have the Americas settlements in the campaign though. Is it possible for me to download the old version?

Removing the land from there is a trigger to a mysterious error,, in addition, cutting a part from the west requires a shift (in coordinations) of every single thing on the map (position 0,0 is at the western lower edge),, which would take a very long time (people would've killed me for 2 weeks more to release!), and so solving that and expanding to the east needs a big project which could be done in the future

okay,maybe at next version you remove the americas as it pose a useless & poor land
to expand the map to the east maybe you should:move the europe more to west at same coordinates as americas and atlantics

I really would rather have the Americas be an active part of the map, unless you could include China, but only if. I'm sick of campaign maps that only include like half of India. I want to see more Far East!
