User Script & Preferences Editor

This tiny utility opens user script, preferences, and save game folder for ETW, NTW and SHO2, saving you on having many shortcrust or having a hard time to find them. If there is not a user script it creates one automatically. Just unzip attached file and place the single exe file you find where you like, it does not need installation.

This tool will be very helpful for my AUM mod fans and if you allow I will add your link to all three AUM mod sites.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 SP1 and these issues appear.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

> Script file
The Shogun and Napoleon buttons don't open the script file. The Empire button does open a script file but does not show all entries.

My user.empire_script.txt contains these entries:
mod aum_mod_dm.pack;
mod darthmod.pack;

But the opened file only shows this entry:
mod darthmod.pack;

> Preferences file
All three buttons don't open the preference files.

> Save files
All three buttons open this folder.

C:\Users\Username\Documents

The Win 7 path would be this (* = Empire, Napoleon, Shogun2):
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\*\save_games

Thanks a lot for this little tool very usefull.

I have an issue. I'm quite sure that is not linked with your tool but anyway.

I make changes in my "preferences.empire_script". But the game seems to ignore it.
It's just like if "preferences.empire_script" had no connections with the game.

I m sorry if this is not the right place to post it... But you seem to know about "preferences.empire_script" !

Hi, i am having a hard time trying to get the ACW mod to work. when i click on FIGHT a pop up warning comes up saying "Windows cannot find Napoleon.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.. I really want to play this mod and its baffling me as to why it its not playing... But the lobbies for ACW show on the NTW lobby list..
