BTW, we must have them because the game crash if there is not enough landmass on a map!

    i have to questions:
    1) How many factions will there be, and what are the names of the factions?
    2) How many provinces will there be?

They are necessary due to the land/water ratio limits of the RTW engine. However, they are merely decorative - the "land" that comprises them is impassable.

Everything that you guys have done with this mod is so very impressive, research, units, ect....but I'm wondering if the proximity from city to city, or town to town will cause a game of siege battles. maybe that has been dealt with with movement points but just wondering if this is a concern...

As far as I tested it myself, IA often tend to sally out besieged cities. This has probably to do with unit scales, map scale and movement points
