    Young Robert was placed upon the throne by his Uncle, Maegor the Storm Caller, after Robert's rebellion, in which the mad king Aerys was dethroned.
    Robert was a sickly child, and for most of his reign he was guided by his Regent and Uncle Maegor. However, young Robert passed away at the age of thirteen after a long and painful disease which was caused by a cut upon the Iron Throne. His uncle, Maegor, took the throne after him.
