    Atm, there is no tech tree. It's supposed to come with 3.5. There are also no agents and no ships and almost no diplomacy (North can trade with all, South with none, that's about it). Atm, the mod essentially focuses on land battles but does that beautifully imho. The AI is great (apparently parts are from Darth Mod), maps and units are beautiful and effects stunning

    I donīt want to say a release date. But one thing can be sure, this is the biggest update since 3.0 release and will take a good amount of time now.

    Hi all! Your mod is awesome, but i have a problem: even with the lowest graphic settings, when my guys are shooting at the yankees, the game gets slower What can i do?

    When I try to start a US/CS campaign, the ACW Brothers vs. Brothers screen takes up my entire screen for a few seconds and then I receive a CTD. Here is my log:

    I had ETW & DMUC installed but Steam stopped working so I had to reinstall ETW twice. There may be traces of DMUC left, but I don't know what/where they would be. ETW loads fine without ACW.

    the music pack file doesnt seem to be in there

    Either turn down the particle effects graphic settings from ETW or delete the table particle_effects in bg_db.pack.

    I don't think i delete the right one... Now empire does not run anymore. I know you have work to do, but i really would like to enjoy your mod in the best way i can. Can you please tell me the exact file i have to delete and where it is located? Sorry i'm a supernoob.

    as Post Hoc said... you are missing a bg_music.pack. you have to download ACW music file and install it too..

    I notice that "the other side" will always start with techs that you don't have. Pre-war I have been able to buy these techs from the non-playable nations for 20k or so each, but once the war starts that sort of money never seems to be around.

    in current format tech advancement/tech tree is completely irrelevant... player and AI both start the game with all the techs needed to build all of the units supported currently. that is why there is no need to do any research whatsoever. I would advise against buying technologies from other nations before the War because there is simply no need to do that... you have everything you need and that money can be put to good use somewhere else.

    the "AI advancement" in technology is also irrelevant. it seems that AI "researches" new technologies with/without college building. the important thing is: it gains no bonuses from those researches as their effects have been set aside.

    I personally never bother with technology tree in the ACW 3.x. but that is maybe because I have some secret insight what is in store for us all once we incorporate Tech tree into the mod...

    game crashes during the battle , and the time of crush is random. Sometimes i can play 10 min 20 min, other time 5 min. But the game is still crushing. PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE THE MOD IS GREAT.

    Reduce Unitsize, lowering graphic settings and close all other programms while playing. More i canīt say for now.

    I wish it would be so easy. But i think where is the problem, SMOKE!!!! it crashes becosuse of smoke :/.
    FX are from Smoke&Blode Mod?
    The Enhanced Empire is working with no problems, and i think there is older version of S&B?
    What can I do to not use this mod in ACW?

    The smoke have some impact on performance, yes. If it is too much for your memory then it can crash.

    You posting abour something that is related to an older version of our mod.
    The actual version 3.4 does not need to be unzipped, itīs a normal installer in exe file format.

    One question, what are union horse artillery batteries armed with in the game? The guns look like 3 inch ordnance rifles but when checking maximum range in a set battle it appears from the red marker as much shorter.
