They were never a "faction" in the "holy" lands or anywhere else, so they were replaced with the much more accurate Crusader States.
Not that I know of.
If they were a faction we need about 100 faction slots instead of 31.
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....
how do I mod it to add them as their own faction ? also would like to take hospitallers and add them to rhodes.thanks
That means getting rid of two factions right? Isn't the total number of factions maxed out? But I can see why you want the Templars, they are a pretty cool faction.
long story, start reading here.

suffice to say it's not gonna happen with just a few clicks.

you have pretty much the full potential of the knights Templar at your disposal if you play as the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
On an unrelated note: As Jerusalem, I've got myself a minor Hospitaller chapter house, but I built it in the first turn and after 40 turns I still can't expand it, did some other faction build one before me or can it only be built in a certain type of town? I assumed it was the last thing but my city (Antioch) already has expanded as well![]()
They're not guilds anymore, but regular buildings, so I don't think you can make it bigger.
in the first version there was a faction for templers. i am very surprised no one has made a mod since.who doesnt wanna play as one of the orders ?
this is going to push me to try and make a mod,a templar mod starting at 1117 and spaning to the time the church turns its back on them.y
In the versions with the orders it was as a representation of the diffrent small fiefdoms which only connection was the religious motives they had.
apart from the teutonic order, you can't actually call the diffrent religious orders 'factions'
I think mods like Broken Crescent has a solution to your problem
It doesn't, since the Kingdom of Jerusalem in BC is very much like the Crusader States of SS.
6.1 wasn't the first version of SS.
