Questions could be grouped by category too :

    1. Campaign topics :
      • Agents : If we are able to add a new agent to the game, he is unable to convert people. Do we have forget a db tables or esf parameter ?
      • Elections : when we change election turn numbers, the numbers is set to default value after the first election, is it something hardcoded or do we have missed something ?
      • 4 seasons mod (ETW) : how season system work and is it possible to create a 4 seasons mod for ETW
      • unit evolution system : ETW propose a system to replace units depending of government, such system could be useful, if linked to technology instead of government, to create a reform system that replace old units with new ones. But this means to change things that are hardcoded.
    2. Battle topics :
      • Naval unit modding : how naval models are added to the game (db tables, model files, etc.)
      • Building models : how can we mod .cs2 parsed models
      • Unit models (man, animals, engines) : why do you have hardcoded "skeleton" (man and animals) and is it possible to find a solution to bypass this.
    3. Graphic interfaces :

And by game of course. One that bugs the hell out of my is the inability to build more that one building at the same time in Medieval Total War 2, but units can be trained in batches just fine! That would be under Medieval 2, Campaign topics for example.

A campaign map Editor for the next TW has to be one of the main topic. All of the skilled modders always find a way around for maps and units modding, but the campaign map editing stays at point 0. If CA can find a solution with modders about this crucial topic, then we will have some great things coming.

The important thing right now is to pass the voice, to everyone you know here at the forums! No matter if they mod or not, perhaps they know someone who do.

Modding CA games is all but dead...it was more vibrant when they made games supremely moddable. Now you have to fight tooth and nail to get any tools or resources and wait for other programmers to come up with new ideas around an unworkable system. I'm not interested in the least. Not to mention I am still furious about how badly Empire was made.

One question that I would like to be answered is about the campaign map (ETW); which files are determining how the campaign map is generated. I haven’t keep up on this topic much over the last few years but I think it would be helpful to know which files are responsible for generating the campaign map.

    Wow!

This is the one awesome step that makes me forget the previous modding issues!

Finally the proof that CA is really different from the soulless money suckers from other companies.

    Great news!!! Thank you CA.
It seems the whining was a success after all.
This is very good for the modding community.
    Good move CA

    Very cool..

Probably worth mentioning that the majority members on the list I saw are RTW modders/retired/not living in England..

Hopefully TWC will have an official representative, perhaps recording the event for a future video cast thingy..

Why do you need lists of people anyway? I'm pretty sure any sensible modding summit would be all inclusive...

It feels to me like a "community-friendly" way of saying that there won't be mod tools in the future...

Exactly what we should not ask. Too generic, too complicated and too long. We would receive an easily expected answer.

Yes, but what would you like to ask?
