Why not download the beta version for 1.5, hellas1?

As far as I know, Pasargadae is included, which was the city of Persepolis (or it was Parsa, dunno, Flieger or Rez know more for sure), in a way. Persepolis wasn't a city on itself, it was a complex for the ceremonies of "Now Ruz" (="New Day", 21.03., the beginning of the Persian new year)

Susa is included for sure, maybe it's called "Shush" or something similiar.

    Hey Kahweh,

Want to let you know that your work is excellent, first of all

Second, I'm waiting for the full 1.5 release.
    The whole shabang!

I will, if ROP team permits, contribute to the "Steppe" cultures in ROP II in a historical/research manner.

The Middle East and Central Asia played a very interesting, almost overlooked, part of world development and history.

Hellas1 Yeah.....I DO think that Dastgah's are cool!

    Hi hellas1,

I don't think one could call RoP2 a 'vivid' mod at this moment - if you understand, what I mean. However, I am not sure about it's fate.

As for the siege maschines mentioned, I am not sure, if they are a good idea (even if we had any evidence for our time), since we would need much time creating such a thing and make it work and we are not a big team, that could effort that.

We appreciate any input and critics! If you have anymore, don't hesitate. :-)

    FliegerAD Hi!

You know I'm for the team and ROPII my man.

No Dis' is ever coming from me! Especially when I have no skills!

I'm just giving input and want this unique mod to kick ass! pardon.

I'm sorry I couldn't have contributed more historically as I don't have the necessary research materials.

But...I want this mod to be excellent!

You saw this preview, even replyed and all you posted is that?
Gos and me worked hard on this faction...
I mean, if you don't like it, please post your critics and help us improving.

Anyway, I don't know, why it is down. Gos and our admin are on a hollyday-trip.

There were more religions than just the Zoroastrian religion in Middle East and please don't think it had sole claim on it's symbols.

The sun disk derives from old Egyptian religion and has ever been a sign of royal power and divine protection of it. The sun god Re was seen in it. In Babylon it was identifyed with Šamaš, the Mesopotamian sun god, to which Nabu-naid prayed:

The Zoroastrian religion adopted that sun disk from the Babylonians, with a distinct difference: the addition of the prophet of Zoroaster.
