How to edit capital city in a current savegame?

Hey there boys and girls!

The reason of this thread is because I would like to change my current capital city to another one. I am playing as Sardinia and whenever I try to change the capital city with "EasyESF" I do not get my current "capitol" city (all blank) and was wondering what caused this?

My "historical" capital city was taken by the British and I now have Palermo, Sicily as my current capital but would like to change it to Naples because I have my trading port there and I will be able to engage in land trade agreements as well! :-)

Try again but this time do not use the individual Capitol change from menu bar. Select START and then FACTION and make only the change in capitols. If there you have problem as well please feed back.

Thank you very much for your answer husserITW! I went ahead and did what you suggested. I am able to see the current capital and historical capitals successfully; however, when I save the changes I get the error "Error saving XML file"

*EDIT*

I see this is a quite common error, so here's what I did and what I have:

• Windows 7 64bits
• UAC disabled
• Ran the program as administrator (not w/ shortcut; directly)
• Moved EasyETF NTW in another drive

My origfile.txt in /Data/Docs reports the following:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyEsf for NTW\ESF\Kingdom of Sardinia Late January 1805.save

And of course in my alternative drive, the C: is replaced by a D:

But to no avail unfortunately
