PS: Ferdiad, the issue isn't with me because I tried other saves and they work.

Smerka, can you post a save where you still are Carthage? Maybe that helps.

I have done a before and after save. Try it and if they don't work, skip my turn or consider getting someone else for Carthage.

Id help him but im not a computer guy as everyone noticed in the last problem we had centered around me. So im of no use at this point.

DedlySerious, Smerka has some sort of problem that we are yet to discover. Since my turn is after his and if you did read our conversation you would know that I can't load it, and we proved that the problem is from his save since if I download any other save it works normally, I don't like seeing someone being forced to leave for some technical problem, I hope we find a solution to Smerka's problem soon since anything like this can be fixed.

Sorry if what i said came across wrong was just trying to help i downloaded the files smerka posted they work fine both of them but only if i used alx.exe which maybe the issue
AFAIK we are using normal rome execute as some people do not have the alexander expansion
You can load a rtw.exe or a bi.exe save with alx.exe and save it but you cant go backwards and then load the resulting save with anything other than alx.exe

True... loading an Alex save on regular RTW will just not load. The contrary works. This is on RS2.5 but maybe is the cause of your problems on the Hotseat.
The way i see it, Smerka has to play again his turn, making shure he is using RTW.exe and not Alex.exe, then save and proceed from there.

I used the the ALX.exe since that what was said on the other thread, which had someone having problems with installing it on top of Rome.

I have confirmed the problem was the wrong .exe

I have done a RTW.exe version, hopefully it finally works. I tried the other saves I did and it did the exact thing you were experiencing (reloading back to menu).
