You need 5 points to form a deployment zone for some reason. Do that and it should end up fine

Yeah that annoyed me too. The problem is there is no Large Torii for grounds so I had to use the coastal one. A legendary hero's sanctuary deserves a large one

I just do trial and error till i get it right. It gets really hard to create siege maps though.

How do you make the walls so I can put troops on them?

Have you tried the "Go Zone" tool, it may be this.

    No that doesn't help.

I think I need to change the map to siege first then maybe it will work.

Yeah i was failing at this last evening aswell.. then i reread the manual and you have to work with the grid function to automatically be able to stick castle parts and walls together, i havent tried yet but i think it will work

Well i dont think you can, but its not really necessary either.. when you want to make nice mountains use multiple brushes and scales to get something going.. the more types you use the more real it will look

ive also attached the manual for people who havent got it yet

I found a way to make it easy to make castles.. enable all the options in grid snap options (its the most left one on the bottom with all the small pictures) and select the pieces you want to use just put them anywhere dont try to connect them or swivel them with alt.. after you placed a bunch you want to use go to selection and select one and it will snap in a standard position (green into a red box) and from there on you can only rotate them 90 degrees every time and move them right next to eachother.. works great..

but ive got an issue of my own that somebody might be able to help me with, whenever i make a castle and want to fill up the inside with soil certain walls will rise as soon as i try to level it at the top.. there's no problem with straight walls but mainly with diagonal ones and pieces like the star corner, do you have to get the soil in place before you put the walls against them or something? i cant seem to find anything about it

Use EFLines. make sure you set them up for the appropriate structure.

I took away the download link yesterday because I realized I messed it up messing with the deployment zones which i will fix toaday then I will put up the download link again. So if you or anyone else downloaded the Fort Wagner map and it crashed then just wait for the next download link once I fix it.

Use EF lines, everything you basically need to know is in the manual, so read the manual
