    Nice work, it looks sort of like my WW1 map but you might want to change the name because the file for my WW1 map is called trenches. If you want to make better trenches set the hight to 11.000 and the width to 5 or 10 and make a line then set the hight to 10.500 and place a firing step in the back then set the hight to 9.000 and make a ditch infront but make sure its able to be climbed over.

    I reworked it, adding more spots to climb the several high grounds, on both sides to balance the map a bit more and allow more flankings. I'm quite happy with the result !

    I see what you were trying to do... great idea by the way. Looks great. Maybe add some farms near the base of one of the hills. Maybe a small stream too if thats possible... looks great.

    Yeah a small village of farmers is already planned. For the stream, I really wanted to add one, but it didn't fit that well where I placed it, I'll try some new locations and we'll see.

    quick question for people who have created coastlines;

    How do you get it to fill with water?

    How do you go about making all of the area outside the map into sea (so it doesn't look like a giant lake)?

    I know I did it wrong but i changed the ground height to 0 or whatever and then i just subtractive the height with a large area and just made it that way and put the land up with additive.. but that is probably a way too complex way of doing it >.>

    Maybe setting the entire ground height to something negative and then picking the shore back up? I'll give it a try tomorrow.

    How do people create deployment zones? I draw mine as rectangles in the TEd but in the game they come out as triangles?!?

    make sure the points are connected... that's the only thing i can think of as to why that'd be happening to you o-o;; you could also just use the default two and just re-size them in their properties window...

    The points are connected...I would use the default two except I've already created the entire landscape without them and I don't want to redo everything

    Anyone have any idea? Can I edit the xml directly or something?

    Very nice

    Although my small tiny complaint is that torii gate. Well that variant is actually used for coastal areas, on water, not those topping off hill peaks. (No worries, its an insignificant detail)

    (Its clickable by the way....An S2 overhaul mod.)

    Seriously. Click it. Its the only overhaul mod that's overhauling enough to bring out NEW clans

    Okay I fixed the deployment zones. New pics of the Kamakura Beach map - minor landscape adjustments and a fleet added offshore as requested

    Both sides have to deploy on the beach. From then on all the forested hills are fair game for strategic manoeuvres.

    I created another map, my 4th map, Fort Wagner based on the fort Wagner from the battles of Fort Wagner that was also in the movie Glory about the 54th Massachusetts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Wagner
    I had to take away the coastal batteries because they wouldn't fire.

    On the siege castles, how do you get each castle piece to align perfectly with the next?

    How did you fix the deployment zones because I was trying to add more deployment zones to my fort wagner map then it crashed so I changed the id and now it works but they are traingles?
