I will first play Yehuda because I never played with them, and I’m curious what will be the side effect of disobeying the will of God. I remember that you said that there will be some penalties or something like that... After that, Uartu (I admit that I don’t know much about them... that is one reason) and Ashur because of the same reason, I never played with them.

easily Pick Ashur because in this time frame not only where they the most technologically advanced (alongside babylon) but they where the most ferocious military force the world had every seen. They are the personification of total war in society, culture and religion. So much till the point Hitler claimed that the Aryans are there descendants for propaganda purposes. It was the religous and social duty of every Assyrian to conquer the world. In Ashurism , Ashur owns the universe and Assyria is his nation and it is there duty to reclaim the world in his name. that is the reason that whenever Assyria discovered a new nation if they didnt attack them they would immediatly demand tribute for all the time that has passed and they have not paid due tax to the Kindom of Ashur. This fueled the countless innovations of the Assyrian war machine such as mapping and the concept of north east south west to plan ut there attacks. Not only where the first schools in medopatamia but the first schools for the art of war where developed in Assyria for the youth to literally study theoreticall warfare and engineering which leads to their inventions of :war ladder, battering rams, siege towers, underground millitary excavations to destroy walls (as in the famous battles against Judah). Not only is the oldest archeological and theoretical evidence for all these things found in Ashur but the first engineer crops for the millitary was created by Assyria, which is responsible for making temporary bridges to cross rivers inflating animal skins to help soldiers swim across and devising what is considerd the first tank: a battering ram with a miny archery tower on top. If Asshur is half as good as what it was in real life during this time it will demolish the other kingdoms through superior millitary and technology.
