This will be a single-chapter AAR about Milan.
It should be a quick, fun read.
To start, the Council of Nobles - they're very brave people, I don't know anyone who would want to be a noble in Milan calling the shots - tell me to take Ajaccio. I comply with their wishes.
Also, I order every city under Milanese thumb - a whole two cities - to be a military based center.
To be successful, the Italians must band together. It's an Italian brotherhood kind of thing.
We also decide the Vatican dwellers must be allies as well.
And the Sicilians - they're Italians.
We also allied with the Germans... we just forgot to make the scribe report it. Also, Ajaccio falls to us.
We ship our Ajaccio army back to the mainland to do what we Milanese do best.
Yes, we waited until they sent their armies away.
Venice falls to the Milanese too - which brings us to our first achievement in history.
We intercept Venetian troops, no doubt they were marching on our new toy - Venice. After the battle, we do what Milanese people do second best.
Then we pull our first best out of the hat again.
The Pope is a funny man - after all this intercepting, we're told he won't excommunicate us for taking Bologna. So, we do it.
Pope Gregory's orders to stop fighting annoy me, so I pull out #1 again. On the Pope. Yes.
We use a small army, I don't know what I was thinking, it gets trashed.
WHAT THE HELL? Why are we viewed as despicable to the rest of the world?
Remember what I said about Italian brotherhood?
They try to help the Venetians and the Papal States, with a boat.
So, we decide it would be better if we took the Papal States seriously and took Rome.
I'm satisfied by the growth of the empire so far.
We sack Rome, because we're Milanese. It's our third strength.
We Milanese do what we want.
Another feeble attempt...
We use our second best strength again.
We landed a boat in Sicily and placed the Sicilians in a bad position - defend Naples from one army or defend your capital?
They choose the latter - which is a grave error. They won't make it in time, and our catapults can assault Naples right away.
Yeah.
In order to complete the Italian conquest -
-we siege a rebel settlement.
Rebels don't deserve to be in this world, so we use our fourth strength.
Extermination. HAHAHAHAHAHA-
An invasion force takes Cagliari, and the Italian conquest is complete.

This is the end of my story.
Thanks for reading everyone, I know it's everything you expect from a Milanese AAR.
