Master of Whisperers: +2 to spies and Assasinations.
Master of Ships: +2 to naval battle rolls.

Kingsguard Member: +1 to duels and field battles.
Kingsguard Commander: +2 to duels and field battles

Commander of the watch: +2 to capture rolls.

First Ranger of the Watch: +1 to duels, escape rolls and field battles.
First Steward: -2 to enemy escape rolls, +1 to survival rolls.
lord Commander: +2 to Duel rolls, +2 to field battle rolls, +2 to escape rolls and +2 to survival rolls.

Which reminds me, we need a Master of Ships rank. It is not available in the King's Office tab. Though I do support this.

Sorry I don't like it. It does not make sense that one becomes better at something from getting these ranks. They get these ranks because they are good at these things in the first place.

Well what exactly do they do? Wander around doin nothing? Surely if you were mast of Whisperers say, you would get acces to the previous spymasters contacts and such. and the Master of Coin would inherit the previous ones Buisness partners and the Hand of the king would inspire his troops and have an increased authority.

I still don't see how a man becomes a better commander nor better fighter because of a title. I don't think this is necessary.

Against, you join the small council(or you get a title) becasue you are good at something, you dont become good at something because you are on it.

But someone on the small council has more influence than someone who is not.

What it should be.. The title would not magically make you better at X, you get the title because you are good at X.

Well that's obvious... But you would ultimately try to strive to do your job well and you wold also get their contacts and respect.

Well if you want to strive to do a job well, put your points in that. the Influence you get is already a part of the Game. As Master of Coin you have sway over the Kings money, as Master of Ships you control the Fleet. You don't get better at controlling it. So no, this proposal is creative but redundant.

Well what's the point of some of them then? The master of laws cannot be accurately represented at all, neither can the master of coin this early until some merchant characters get set up.

Able to Demand Money from Nobles to benefit the Iron Throne, though lending is viewed in a much better light.
He controls the Treasury f the King.

Master of Ships:
Leads All Naval Battles and Control the Royal Fleet.

These are just examples. You can do it as you like, but things like that, which would come with the positions.
