Thank you for this. Do you know if it's possible to get Janissaries in ETW to fire the first two ranks at the same time (i.e., like skirmishers do). They don't have fire-by-rank. I understand Napoleon can be modded to give units the ability to fire the first two ranks at the same time, since there is no fire-by-rank in Napoleon. But could it be done with Janissaries in ETW, do you think?

So is it the first two ranks fire alltogether ?! That's a bit better than chevaux-de-frise, which is the animation assigned to both light and line infantry in NTW. Fire by rank in NTW seems unconnected to ETW, robotic and without delay, both firing itself and standing up of soldiers. So they spoiled it from ETW. However ETW's Fire by Rank was quite good. But if you could make all ranks to fire, two after two, would be better than all.
