The favour of the gods be with you, fellow denizens of Total War Centre!
Isti Britanni: Total War is a mod for RTW v1.5, set at the very end of the Iron Age, on the eve of the Roman invasion. The campaign will span the period from the accession of the Emperor Claudius in the year AD 41 until the completion of Hadrian's Wall upon the death of Hadrian in AD 138.
MAP
The map spans Britain, Ireland, and a corner of northern Gaul. The basic outline (heights and coastlines) is ported from the
Medieval II Total War Kingdoms: Britannia campaign, however the regions, features and ground types are all my own. The little corner of Gaul I have chosen to include I had to draw from scratch. Scotland and Ireland will each have a very low settlement density; this will more accurately represent relative population size, and will also ensure that conquering will be slow and tedious, as it was.
Work is ongoing; creating the map is currently my first priority.

Over the next few weeks as I am going to be extremely busy with final exams. That does not mean this project has been abandoned.
Wanted: modelers and skinners!!! If anyone feels like they might be interested in making some slightly unusual barbarian units, please let me know!
Please note that all screenshots are very much WIP; units and maps will
not look exactly this in the final mod. They are just to give you a general idea of some of the things to expect, and will be updated over time.
