In the Dark of the Night

And so it began. Claw Isle, was badly Defended, most men was at the Feast And Tournament at Kings Landing. And here, when all the eyes was fixed on the Capital, a bloodbath ensued. the ships had docked peacefully in the Dark of the night and then... The attack began, they almost didn't realise what was happening before it was too late. Open gates and unknown enemies was the conditions the small Island had to fight with. Winning this was highly unlikely.
A rough voice commanded the attacking men.
"Aswen! Take 400 men around the Island, make sure no-one leaves is. Burn all their ships except for Red Claw, Take that and sail back here with it, I've always wanted my own Flagship."
He turned to another man.
"Take 50 men make sure the gate stays open."
And another.
"You, go kill all inside the keep, take a hundred, there is bound to be some kind of resistance in there... I will take my 200 and go down their cellars. OKAY everybody, Take everything to our ships be careful with the wares!"

The bells clanged as the fighting ensued...but one by one, the alarm bells went silent as the Redwyne men still caught some of the coastal and harbor guard by surprise. Troops rushed in from the nearby castle, hoping to reinforce their resistance. A rough looking man walks towards a guard captain.

What in the name of the Seven is going on here!?

Sir! It appears that we have hostile forces in the harbor. They came out of the ships from the eastern side that had just docked this morning.

Whats the situation?

Our guards were greatly surprised, all of the eastern bells are silent with many of the central alarm bells still ringing. Heavy fighting has appeared along the central docks. A great number of our ships burn now. With a good number of our captains dead or missing, our forces are confused and disorganized.

The rough man, named Monfort, growled at this and pushed the captain aside. He would handle this by himself. His eyes would notice the burning of their prized ships in the harbor. What were these raiders trying to do? What were they aiming for? He barks an order at the Captain.

Pull in our reserves from the castle and organize them! We need to a good counterattack against these foes. I will head down and try to organize our men into a better defending force!

The captain snaps a salute and rushes off to gather the reserves as Monfort with fifty of his men head down to the clammer of swords and shields down by the harbor

Gotwer was marching with great determination, his little play at the tourney today had paid off everybody thought him drunk and asleep, he had only been drinking water..
"Okay people lets move out, I want Luca with a from the west Harbour to join me once he is done there, and I want Ser Dark to take and silence the alarms in the centre of the isle. HURRY!"

The man that had gotten the orders ran off the pass them on.
Gotwer turned... Fire was lighting up the darkness many places... Good.They had to make it look as the Ironborns had been here. He turned to the two hundred men he had under himself..
"Okey lets go."

And thus they started to make their way towards the home of the Celtigars. Killing all who would stand in their way.. The Red Crabs.. They shared common ancestry with himself.. HE pushed away the thought and concentrated on the task.

Monfort, a trusted commander of the Celtigars, managed to mobilize the reserves to hold at the major entries towards the Celtigars castle. The bells rang for others to fall back as well, but much of the outer resistance had fallen to the blades of their unknown assailants. Monfort rode to each defensive line, ensuring all was well, then took his position along the Western side. Three other of his fellow commanders took the other fronts. They were more determined now and ready to hold against their invaders.

However...Monfort had failed in one aspect: given himself a bulk of the forces. He wanted to be glorified for his achievements in striking down the enemy and thus gave him the majority forces. The Northern and Eastern forces were lesser and might prove to the downfall of this defense.

"Yes Ser, I will Ser,"

The man ran off to sound the Attack. five Hundred men approached from East, West, North and South.
"Okey manne, we have a job to do, we are to carve our way to the castle, empty it and return to the boats.That's it, The commanders on the four flanks will make sure all life on the island is snuffed out."

And thus the large group of men made their way towards the caste. And in the distance they could see The Southern Enemy Defences meet the Five hundred men under Ser Dark. This seemed as it would go easy.

Fighting and screams filled the night, and finally the two hundred men met with the fifty that had been send to hold the gatehouse... Now they had a Castle to take.

The Southern Defenses held against the five hundred under Ser Dark. Ser Daegor, the commander of the southern forces, was a rather lean man, but stupid. Only a commander due to being a friend of Ser Monfort. Daegor watched the enemy striking his men. He barked orders to hold.

Monfort ensured he had the greater forces to capitalize upon an overwhelming victory and to be granted greater rewards. The days of no fighting and sitting around had dulled his sharp mind when he was younger and it may make him pay greatly for his mistakes.

Gotwer watched with dismay as the battle had started all around him, he hated battle. He hated war, he hated the necessity to kill...... But it was necessary.

Monfort cheered for his victory. He had pushed back Ser Aswen and had gotten a well-earned victory. The other three fronts had failed him though. 225 men, from all three fronts, ran for their lives towards the castle, yelling for the gates to open. Monfort heard the clamor of his men and turned...his commanders had failed him. He turned and ordered his men to hold for now as Monfort rode forth to rally those at the castle's gates.
