Late that night, after the coronation feast and tournament, Maegor managed to relax and take a nice bath before the arrival of his unknown but beautiful guest. He rested in the bath tub while the servants prepared the dining hall for the guest's arrival. It would be a private audience and dinner between the King and Melisa. It was indeed rare, but not uncommon, for a King to dine with a beautiful woman. The Goldcloaks kept watch outside for Melisa while Maegor began to dress in fine clothing for the dinner. It was to be...an eventful dinner tonight in the Red Keep.

Melisa arrives, staring up at the Red Keep, as her eyes well up with tears as she remembers what the rebels did to her family that day King's Landing was sacked by the Lannisters in the name of the Usurper. She starts to cry but quickly wipes away the tears and recomposes herself. "Nobody knows who you are. They all believe you are Melisa, a Tyroshi noblewoman. You'll be fine." She thinks to herself as she adjusts the silk dress her servant had picked out for her after failing to bring a decent one twice, the first had some missing stiches and looked like it could rip if worn for too long, and the second was too large. In that time, her other two servants had prepared her for the dinner. She stares up at it again, and she smiles. " Well, I guess I'll be the first Targaryen to return to the Red Keep, even if for a few hours." She thinks to herself before giggling slighty and walking towards several of the Goldcloaks on duty, being followed by several of the sellswords she has as guard.

Ser Godwen Thorne, the trusted bodyguard of Maegor I approaches Melisa and her small guard. A squad of Goldcloaks approach them as well. Godwen bows.

Welcome, Lady Melisa. It is good to see you accepted the King's invitation. I must ask that your...sellswords remain out here. Security of your person shall be done by the Goldcloaks. Also, please hand over any weapons you may have on your person.

Two Goldcloaks approach Melisa and offer their hands out, waiting for her to give them any weapons she may have. Godwen remained there for now. He disliked having such low lives like sellswords in the halls of the Red Keep. And in his view, they could not be trusted unless they were given the right coin.

[Xion]

"Of course, they were just to deal with any potential criminal that may have attacked me on my way here...and it is an honor to be invited by the King to dinner." She waves dismissively to the sellswords, who walk off to go to a tavern to wait for Melisa's return. Melisa then hands over two long daggers to the Goldcloaks.

The Goldcloaks confiscate her two weapons before Godwen escorts Melisa into the Red Keep and towards the dining hall. He glances back at the unknown Targaryen.

Mi'lady, King Maegor will be out shortly. He only wished to bath and look presentable to his guest tonight.

He opens the door to the dining hall and lets Melisa in as Godwen goes to inquire a servant where Maegor was currently.

[Xion]

Melisa quietly stares around as she is led to the Dining Hall, and then nods when addresed by Godwen, before entering and sitting down in the Dining Hall. "Well..some things have changed, but seems to be the same old castle..although some of those tapestries are rather poorly crafted, ha." She thinks as she waits for the King to arrive.

[Lucius Malfoy]

Ser Godwen's eyebrow went up slightly. Melisa knew of the inside of the Red Keep? But...this seemed to be her first visit here. The bodyguard turns and walks over to a far door as it opens, revealing Maegor in fine clothing. He notices Melisa and walks over to her calmly as his eyes noticed her looking at a portrait.

You like it, mi'lady? It is a portrait of my nephew, King Robert I. Poor lad died at the age of thirteen due to a rather painful illness.

[Xion]

She bows when Maegor approaches her. "It is a rather well done portrait, your grace...and I am sorry to hear of his misfortune.."

[Lucius Malfoy]

Experienced a nasty cut at the age of six while on the throne...the wound wasn't properly healed and caused a long and painful illness for the next seven years. I thank you for compliment and the condolences.

Maegor sighs lightly and then turns to look at Melisa with undivided attention.

I can tell you are not from Westeros...tell me, young lady, where are you from?

[Xion]

"Must've been terrible to endure that for that long, even more so at such a young age." She nods. "The Free City of Tyrosh, your grace."

It was indeed hard to see.

Maegor escorts Melisa to her seat, pulling the chair out for her as the servants brought in the dinner for the night. The King then sits opposite of her.

Tyrosh you say? My my, you are a long ways from home then. What brought you to Westeros then?

[Xion]

She stares at the food for a second, then back to Maegor. "A desire to explore and see something that is different from Tyrosh, as I've heard so many stories about this land from merchants I thought to see it for myself."

[Lucius Malfoy]

There is nothing too special. It has been thirteen years since the....rebellion. However, the many cities of Westeros hold much history. Such as Summerhall and the Wall.

Maegor smiles as the servants pour some wine into the glasses. The King thanks the servant and then looks at Melisa.

I have only heard of stories involving Tyrosh. Tell me about your home...errr...I do not think I ever asked for your name. I am terribly sorry.

[Xion]

"Indeed, they do your grace. Dragonstone, Casterly Rock..Sunspear..I want to at least see some of these before I return to Tyrosh. " She takes a small sip of the wine. "Tyrosh is renowned for the people's fondness for bright colors, of which some dye their hair these colors as well. Tyrosh is also known for their ornately crafted armor and pear brandy..and my name is Melisa Adarys, your grace."

I have heard of such dyes that the Tyrosh are known for making. A well-known city with a great reputation. It is an honor to have you in my dining hall then, Lady Adarys.

Maegor smiles as the dinner is brought it. Freshly cooked boar meat, various vegetables and fruits were offered with bread and cheese. The King thanks his servants and begins to eat in a civil manner. After some time, Maegor looks at Melisa.

Tell me...what do you hope to see in Westeros? I bet you are looking for some particular sights.

[Xion]

"Thank you, your grace.." Melisa smiles at Maegor before beginning to take the occassional bite of food in between conversation. "I would like to see Dragonstone, it is said it's defenses were crafted into the shapes of ornate animals..perhaps Oldtown and the Wall, although I think it may be too cold that far north for me."

[Lucius Malfoy]

Maegor smiles lightly and ponders for abit. He takes a few bites then swallows before speaking.

I would gladly arrange for you to travel to Dragonstone, Melisa. It is the best I can do as a generous thanks for accepting my invitation to dinner in the Red Keep.

He smiles lightly at Melisa.

[Xion]

She stares back at him, with slight expression of her excitement of being able to see one of the castles she desired to visit in Westeros. "Thank you, your grace..but is there anything I could do for you in exchange, as I don't think arranging a trip to a castle is equal to an invitation to dinner.." Her expression turns to one akin to the coy look she gave him earlier during the tournament.

Maegor eats silently for a bit then wipes his mouth before sipping his wine. His eyes look up at Melisa.

No need to repay me. I am a King, Melisa...there is much I could ask for, however there is much I have right now in my position. This is a courtesy on my behalf. A thanks is all I could ask for.

[Xion]

She looks slightly disappointed. "Thank you, your grace...and I would imagine so, being a King and all..keeping the nobles in line while watching for those who would crave the throne for themselves. Much like Tyrosh's Archon..has to be wary or he may end up dead somewhere in the city and another appointed.."
