Alright we have done some testing now and it seems to work perfectly. We hope to get the hotseat going within today. We just need to find an admin and we can start.

But does he have the time for that? I mean its not much work other then in the beginning where he has to rearrange the files, which you(EoH) have already made ready for the admin and MBA must occasionally post a map update each 15th turn, which will only take 5 - 7 minutes. But does he know how to clear passwords? Thats what Im wondering about in case some players have to be replaced.

Wow. Good thing you told us now.... You cant have another mod when you are playing TATW hotseats. It will cause errors such as not being able to recruit or move armies. Remind me to edit the rules and telling everyone about that once we start....

Oh and Ngugi couldnt do it as he is already playing another hotseat.

but i will install the vanilla too. no problems

Ask in the HS forum. I think everyone in TATW forum who is interested in hotseats is playing in this one.

-Type in the console window "logon your_password, When done simply type logoff

To reset someone's password:

Load the campaign sav and open the console by pressing ~ now login with your admin password and then type:

clear_password <faction_label>


The password will then be removed and the player can now load their turn and set a new one.

If a player drops, and you can't find a replacement, you can set their faction as AI controlled:

It also allows to change control to the AI (so 1 inactive player? => set faction to AI control and move on). Type control <factionlabel>


To preset passwords:


There are also functions to set the passwords. To do this type:

set_password <faction_label> <password>

What about Obi Wan Asterix? I think he'd make a great HS admin. (He actually used to be Hex admin here at TWC if anyone didn't know ) I know he doesn't have a lot of free time, but maybe he has enough time to get us started. After getting started there shouldn't be much to do, right?

Hes taking Harad in the hotseat...I say Obi Wan too ; i will talk with him on steam.

As Gimli said I'm playing Harad so wouldn't be a good choice for admin.
