    Default Solution for freezing problem in battles

    For those whose battles were "frozen", CeltiberoLeonidas (who had also the same problem) has found the solution.

    In "Sound options" of RTW, choose "Media fast 2D positional audio" as the sound provider.

    dont you mean miles fast 2d positional audio - and thats sounds like a possible sound card issue to me!

    Yes, sorry.
    It seems that the problem with the other system (EAX I think) comes from the design of that system for sound blaster card. This is better sound, but people don't having that card may have problems, perhaps by the high number of sound overimposed to make this effect in battle.

    But this is only a hypothesis.

    I have an X-Fi and was having the sound freeze. So bump down the sound quality and I will be fine huh?

    Did you guys decide to make the sound additions a seperate download then?

    Please, try that solution for the moment.

    It will be difficult to split the sounds in another mod without actions by the player.
    I will post some tutorial, but I will be on a trip from tomorrow and the tutorial will have to wait until Monday. Sorry.

    If you donīt like the sounds, you can change the descr_sound_music file for descr_sound_music from Rome file in data folder.
