Nice victory. But if that army makes a sortie, Nepos is done for.

dont worry, i retreated, as genoa managed to recruit that stack even though it was besieged, and retrained all those units
My Pontus game, Hard campaign / Hard Battles.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
At war with the Seleucid Empire and Armenia, with Pergamon destroyed.
After a prolonged initial period where my kingdom - center of asia minor - was being attacked on all fronts, i finally managed to push Pergamon back and subjugate them.
Now im trying to simultaneously expand and consolidate my holdings in the east.
What i truly want to do is avoid deep eastern expansion and expand west, setting Italy has my western border.
Things in the west were/are a bit messy. Initially the Gallaeci had expanded north and controlled all of southern Gaul, included the Avernii capital of Gergovia. An alliance between Rome and Carthage followed, and the romans expelled the Iberians out of Gaul. Later on the Avernii moved south in an attempt to reclaim their lost territory.
The Macedonians finally made a move north and are now at war with Rome. Curious to see how far that goes.
Cant really tell from the screen..but it looks as though Pergamon still managed to survive via Crete unless thats purple and not dark blue
Im also liking the free greek expansion in sicily, and macedon looks like its starting on a rampage
Flavius Julius Constantinus, adopted Patrician, 30
nice campaign looks decent, but watch out for the seleucids they look strong
In other news, the AI is, once again, stupid. Why?
Well Macedon decided to attack me!!! and they were going to war with Rome. They were fighting for Segestica for a few turns.
And i didn't even do anything! I obviously declined Rome's appeal for an alliance, which would then be a direct affront to Macedon. I even funneled money to them so they could proceed into Italy without any issue.
But nooooooo, here Pontus, let me blockade one of your ports so we can get something going!
Raise an 2 armies(preferable more stacks). Attack macedon from sparta and from byzantion. Make them then a puppet state against Rome
Update on my Averni campaign. I've included the previous posts.
I made a move on Roman territory and pushed them back to the peninsula, giving captured settlements to Scythia. It ends in disaster.

Carthage 650 A.U.C
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
At the end of 650, Rome is on the ropes. Leading one of the armies Tydeides of the Eagles, storms trough Capua, then Rome for wich is awarded the title "Conqueror of Rome".
The push leads his army to Genoa taking every citie in his way.
Another army moves up the east coast, destroying the last legion in his way and consolidating the conquest of Italy. After that with Rome confined to the uper regions in the North, i force them to acept the status of client state (force diplomacy here). The "Second Roman War" has ended.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
But thats not the end. Our spies report the growing power of the Greek Cities and Timaseon Oea a great leader, orders that greeks must come next. While keeping them at bay near the city of Lepsis Magna, Carthage orders the italian armies to march to Illyria. A new campaign begins. At the head of a recruited Galic army, Tydeides storms Massilia.

My AAR for VGRII-AQUILAE
Rome client state. Great. Post those pictures everywhere.
Just wondering, many of the stacks I have seen have gold chevroned units all at the same level (basically they look a bit artificial). Is this giving them experience or have they really earned it the hard way so evenly?
This is not an attack, I am merely curious,
King Agamemnon of Mycenae
In my case is the hard way, though i think i can recruit them with 2 bronze chevron.

My AAR for VGRII-AQUILAE
I have been doing a new campaign with the new path 2.5
I chose a new nation for the trill of it
I always play on vh/vh with no time limit on battles.
No auto safe, and all other things to make it run well.
Well i chose Galatia they are strong warriors, but far from there home.
I know that sooner or later i am going to face mass stacks of pikes or elephants.
So i plan for worse care scenario, "that i will be killed there".
To counter that, and to get ready to hold em back longer i go on a strike.
Attacking in 14 turns the 3 settlements to the south.
I lose a lot man power but replace them quickly, and got the 3 settlements.
Now my base is set with 6 city`s and a steady income.
I upgrade building that improve loyalty and tax.
Roads+walls of-course too.
After that i set off with my Rulers son and the best army i have a full stack.
I march into Pergamon territory, they complain and warn me. but i march on into the land of the faro.
And from there into lands of Marcedon, and Darian- and onwards to Bori land.
I plan to hit and take there capitol in one blow, so i also have 4 leader and 4 def army + 2 archer in other stack with me, as-well as 4 super spy`s " well 5 star spy`s" and 1 Diplomat.
But things did not go at planed.
Once i was in there land, they attacked me right away, my small support force had to retread.
My full stack was attacked, witch i won very easy
But i was attacked right away again, i won again pretty easy.
My scouts saw that 4 more stacks was moving my way
So it was time to chance the plan a bit.
I used all spy`s on there settlement near me, attacked it and won easy.
Moved out, and in with the support army that was made to hold 1 city.
I then took a look at there army`s, and moved 2 officers just outside the range of there movements.
Moved my no longer full stack into the forest to hide.
Result was that 2 of there stacks followed one on my officers, 1 stack vent to lay siege to my new city, and the last one stayed put.
New turn, i tested my movement, and saw that i was able to hit there capitol, so i sent of my scouts to open its gates, attacked erased it to the ground" killed all that i was able to".
Moved my officers away from harm, used the diplomat to sue em for peace
They refused, but asked for the small city back and 22ooo+ money back.
Witch i of-course refused, that had been no victory
Instead on new turn i asked with money my ally`s the Dacian to attack the Bori " it only cost me 3000" witch they did
Now that the bori was at war with them, i ask for peace again, and they agreed
The Bori took one of there city`s and moved on to take a rebel city a bit north.
Now all this sounds good right, but no, soon after i moved my only army " the full stack" out from my start land, Selicoid`s spy`s was all over my land, and soon there many army`s too.
Now they have chosen to attack, i have made a new full stack there.
But they now have 3 there.
The pictures will show how things look now.
4 pic will be added soon.
"For some reason postyourpictures do`t work today ?"
I will try again later, and keep playing so there will be an update soon after.
2 pic ally screen and income screen too here.
And before next i will also do what others haven`t, make a screen on nation wealth so you all can see that i have not cheated in any way.
No force dipo used, no fast build and 1turn recruitment.
Also i never use auto battle ,i fight all battles.
Lets me know what you guys think, also if you know about a place to upload pictures let me know asap.
