Whenever i attempt to trade MY produce the game will not allow me too, and i am shown a message saying [something along the lines of] "both must have the necessary goods to do this" however i know that i do have the goods, any help?

You can't mix buy/sell trades. You can only buy or sell in one trade offer. Hopefully that's your problem, because I can't think of anything else it could be and I've been modding the game since it first came out.
