Yeah, or if your lord grants you another then-unoccupied territory. Let's keep the limit to 2 territories/house at game start though, so we don't get the '4/6 Iron Isles ruled by the Greyjoys' situation again.

You can start with two provinces max, one at the highest income level available if you'd like, but the other has to be of a lower income level, as established here:

Fair enough, one province that can be anything but probably Very Rich (top stage) and one that's at most Rich (2nd stage) or even Very Prosperous (3rd stage). Or to make it even simpler, 1 province belonging to the highest economic tier in your area, and that's it - your 2nd prov will have to be of lower tiers.

Note: You may, at most, start with two provinces. One must be poorer than the other. For example, if you have a Very Rich province, the other must be Rich or below. If you are a bannerman, you must have your overlord's permission (and an acceptable backstory) for your second province.

Whats the point of the lannisters having gold then? I've given myself provinces that they had in canon, otherwise anyone could be as rich as the lannisters just by owning one prosperous province... It kind of defeats the objective of giving me richer lands really, and I can't edit it ATM cause I only have my phone. So I apologise for not kneeling and begging forgiveness from the all powerful beings of GoT.

100,000 for Starting characters . If you do it this way then technically the reasources and gold mines have dissappeared after one year. I'd rather have an extra 20,000 Income TBH .
And I will actually think you'll find that lannisport isn't as rich as the Rock

The Golden Tooth is NOT owned by the Lannisters, the lords are House Lefford.

Actually he is dead, and it's owned by a Frey who is married to the lady of the house. And it technically means that I'm just another average lord, because my house is just as rich as the others.
