    Default General Horo Removal Mod

    As there seems to be much demand for this here it is!



    Installation

    Extract the mod to your datafolder from the .rar (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\data).

    No user.script entries are needed

    Ha! I knew this would come out eventually, didn't expect it this soon. I personally like the horos (it allows me to easily tell where my general is at all times) so I won't be installing, but this will be a big help to all the people who dislike them. Good job and + Rep.

    I Agree to this ... as some kind of flag to let it know is a general unit , but not something out of place like the horos ...as it look like a static bag and not a silk cloth ><

    Great job hedge! I have a question, how hard would it be throw a few variation head in the ashigaru units. What I would like to do is mod the ashigaru to give them more of a peasant look by putting a few head variations without helmets and give them a regular spear blade instead of the tri-blade yari.

    As far as the head variations goes maybe a head band could replace some of the helmets would be the best option.

    The problem now is recognising where your General is - could you replace it with a special flag, or something like that?

    What if horo's would be made as an upgrade in the techtree for generals or a research . When you do then the horo's would enhance the resistance to missile fire , basically generals would be nearly immune to missile fire , hence no sniping of generals and using rather spear against them.

    Horos date back to the Genpei wars in the 12th century!!
    How can you "research" them if they have been around for ages?

    And basically every guard horseman or messenger had access to one so I don't think they should be limited to only specific generals...

    Well it could be even an upgrade for any cavalry units then , would actually enhance the rock-paper-scissor effect where cavalry should beat archers.
