Legitimate situation here. Has happened to me quite a bit.
Fighting off zombies in a house and somehow half of electro comes after you. You run around and head towards the 'safehouse'

Apart from disconnecting, how do you get a trail of zombies off you?
I've tried breaking their line of sight but several minutes later they will find you.
You will find your self running perpetually pretty much and i don't think there has been a system set up to deal with this problem.

Anything you can do to get them off your back?

You have to kill all of them, your beat bet is running into a forest away from the city and kill the ones chasing you.

Yeh I think 800 meters is the official thing to stop crawlers and hoppers from perpetually chasing you. So the best bet is to kill them.

Yea i've seen Dayz on a few other new websites suprisingly enough.

But from reading the article on the BBC

Some scholars believe zombies have a wider cultural significance too.
UC Davis academic Dr Sarah Juliet Lauro, who studied zombies for her doctorate, said zombies were prevalent in pop culture because of the turbulent times we were living through.

"When we are suffering economic crises, that's when we turn back to the zombies," she said.
Global economic problems and revelations about the abuse of power were only serving to exacerbate the anxiety zombies represented, she said.
"We are seeing the unchecked power of capitalism, so we are reaching for this metaphor," she said. "Zombies speak in so many ways to what capitalism has done to us."

This is what happens when we place an emphasis on teaching English at schools!

First time i killed a guy silently. He was at the airfield, over-watching the control tower in herbs between the 2 runways. There where 2 more guys near the control tower, so he was watching them, maybe to see when he could get an opportunity to attack, or loot the airfield. I went near him as silently has i could, and when i was 2 meters from him, i pulled my silent m9 just in time (he was turning around) and popped 2 shots in his head. instant kill.

He had a m16a4 with acog, so i took it (prefer the long range combat.)

I'm still using 1.6.0 since my PC hates Beta Patches from BIS. Sucks though since ALL West Coast servers are on 1.7.0.

Edit: I am about to login for the first time in two days and probably die of dehydration.

i was playing earlier with some friends and i had camo, m9 with like 5 mags and a m4a1 with several mags and tons of food/water and a czech backpack and some bandages but then the server crashed and when i respawned i spawned in the ocean is there anyway to fix this other than respawning? ...

Check the forum, I think you may just need to keep picking servers. Or report it with your username and see what they can do. I haven't had the problem yet.



Btw, I have not died of dehydration. Currently hanging out on Malinovka peak.
