    Speaking of the Warpath camp:

    Vanilla general "recruitment" is still there, i must confirm that, and also i have problems to get the named generals (Union campaign) available, sometimes it works, sometimes not, where i get max the first 2 of the named generals. The scripting.lua seems here not to fire properly, but comicably it works with the named generals for the AI (CSA, when i play Union).

    As for the file db agent_spawnings table, the value 0 is vanilla default value, afaik, the value 0 there does not mean, that generals won't be spawned, it is just a base value, for generals at least, i guess. I think the only thing that helps here, is to use the units table and put in ie. europe region resource for them, and/or list them for every participating faction in the unit_permission tables - i did this (permission table), and ie. the permission table alone does not prevent CSA AI from getting a vanilla general, so perhaps the region resource is the only way to get them out, but possibly also this won't work, as generals are just basic agent characters, not bodyguard units alone as listed in units table (however, i'll try this still).

    When or if the world campaign will be realised will most factions have updated unit rosters ?

    Vanilla generals do not exist in military group of CS and US and the modded generals (csa_general and union_general) are already excluded in acw units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions. There is a difference however in the historical generals recruiting system for human and AI. While for human they are available in certain turns, for AI (Us or CS) they are available from the first turn because I did not wanted to risk AI miss the recruitment "window".

    In any case the game should not be able to recruit vanilla generals because of the script. As long as you you see Chronicles in every turn then script works fine. If you want to help me find a solution PM me.

    Hey Guys,
    New to the forum and the blue and grey mods just looking at the new 3.0 one and everytime i go to download it on the different mirrors ... none of them work it either
    says the server is down or it just doesnt work

    Can anyone help me with a link of the download that works ?? as i realllllly want to play the new 3.0 mod

    Can't say. I am in the first tests of a CS Grand Campaign but that is in a very early stage.

    Im having a problem. When i Start the mod with the patch on, it goes to the loading screen with the officer on it and then it crashes. Please Help, ive been waiting for this mod for 4 months and would hate to have gone through all that wait for a Excellent Mod and then find out it doesnt work on the piece of crap that i call a computer that i own.

    Just wondering, and I have no idea if this is a "sensitive" topic or anything (I'm ignorant to the situation) but have you, the ACW team, thought of combining your mod with the Victorian mod? It's the same time period and it would be world. Not sure how plausible it is in technicality though. I'm sure it can be done.

    I installed 3.0, and all I get is a funked up ETW. The Union States is actually Britain, and the CS is none other then the United States. The units are the same as those two nations, I have none of the CW maps from 2.6, the screen that appears before the main menu is the only thing remotely different. I installed it as the intallers said, but obviously I've done something wrong. I've twice installed it now.

    no new zouave uniforms yet? Also, why don't officers have ranks on thier shoulders anymore?

    Over all the AI and that rifle stats are much better in this one. *thumbs up*

    Version 3.2 is out now. Itīs a full version with all previous changes included. This may help users who had problems with patch 3.1. Read the changelog in the download thread for more infos.

    don`t know how to install 3.2. i can`t unzip part1 and 2. or shall i just copy the two files in the old ACW3 folder?

    the part where it has 001 delete it.

    so it looks like this when DL ACW3_2.zip.001

    and will look like this after ACW3_2.zip

    then they will ask if you want to change the file type hit ok. then it turns into a zip file
