A lot of great selections, hard to make a choice. So I used my "vote Barbarian" strategy. Went with "Horror in Patavium", kinda liked the blood and cut editing.

None of you are looking into my picture deeply enough. You see, everyone else just posts pictures. I posted a work of art.
If you look at my picture on more than one level you will see that it is full of metaphors, unlike the other pictures here.
For example:
The fire represents the flames of war.
Note how it is night-time. The darkness symbolises the unknown - what will happen to Carthage? What will happen to the soldiers when they die? Is there an afterlife?
The wooden gate leads to the fire. This symbolises the gateway to hell. Note how many of the Carthaginians are facing this, suggesting they are all about to die.
Also look at the Carthaginian holding the Carthaginian flag. This symbolises that... errr... he's proud to be Carthaginian and although he knows he's about to die he still holds the flag up.
Also the torch he's carrying is going out. The torch symbolises Carthage. It's no longer burning symbolising the death of Carthage.
Also the flag is red symbolising blood.
Voting for the others is like voting for a 5 year old's painting over one done by Picasso.
Seriously though - vote for me
note: I didn't just make up all of those 'metaphors' off the top of my head just then. Honest.

Shazbot with Prometheus a close second. Prometheus pic is quite epic, but Shaz's is the most realistic and has a very authentic feel to it. It looks like it was captured from a movie.
