Godlike elephants

Hello,
First want to say I love this mod, it is exceptional. Just wondering if anyone else is having a very hard time killing elephants. I am playing parthia and the selucid empire occassionally recruits elephant mercenaries, and as yet I cannot do any damage at all to them without a generals javelins. After that the kill everything, like 12 elephants destroys 1000 men. I have tried archers, slingers, spearman. Just wondering the best solution. I mean, the elephants have 82 armor, that is kind of a lot. haha, anyways if anyone could get back to me that would be great.

i believe the best way 2 kill elephants is 2 use skirmishers(javelin throwers) or archers with flameing missles.i actually havent faught against elephants seeing as how im playing Julii.but in other mods that is what usually works.

Well I haven't tried javelin troops yet as I do not have them, but I have tried slingers which are supposed to be good against them, and I have tried archers with flaming arrows, however that did not work. If I use my own elephant troops it does work, however it takes most of the battle for them to wear each other down. Thanks for trying though.
