ah as I said there could be various possible answers, well thanks anyway
so for the next, an elaborated one, regarding two books:
- supposedly, where was the Tale of the Years wrote?
- and what was the Thain's book?
not that hard

The Tale of the years was written in the Great Smials.
Thain's book was a copy of the Red Book of Westmarchtaken by Pippin to Gondor where it received many augmentations.
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."
good for me, though I want to make a clarification about the Thain's Book
whether I'm not completely sure about this point, Pippin brought a copy of the red book to Gondor, that was lately integrated and become known as the Thain's Book.
well, correct anyway, so have your rep and your turn!

How came the Wainriders, a tribe of Easterlings attacking Gondor, to defeat?
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."
short answer, Earnil finally and completely defeated them at the Battle of the Camp TA 1944
long answer, Wainriders were probably the worst enemy Gondor has to fight, or at least the one that caused more losses to them, as they harassed Gondor for almost 90 years and won two great battles in which King Narmacil before and King Ondoher after were slain, thus quickening the fall of the line of kings in Gondor; in the end they were defeted by Earnil, who first won a battle against Harad/Khand forces in the south, then he surprised the wainriders army in the north while they were helding a feast after the victory against King Ondoher, and utterly vanquished them

Sorry for the delay, here is my question. Who was the first king of Arthedain?
Amlaith of Fornost, eldest son of Eärendur.
Sure where's my rep?
Hmm could someone kindly fill for him?

Thanks,
Who led the corsair attack that sacked Pelagir and killed King Minardil?
Castamir's great-grandsons Angamaitë and Sangahyando
One does not desire the power of a nation,
So much as one treasures reputation.
This poem is not a 'trap', nor a 'trep',
It is simply a device for the collection of rep.
Indeed, its your turn now.
An easy one here: name all the important characters (I'm not counting the ones from Gondor's fiefdoms- e.g. Forlong- or the named knights of Rohan- e.g. Grimbold) killed in the battle of the Pelennor Fields. Good and Evil. Man and non-man.
Note that 'important' is very subjective, so if you miss out 1 or 2 characters I may give you the benefit of the doubt, but we'll see.
