Wasn't he forced to give it to Oredreth because of the interference of Celegorm and Curufin? Or rather forced to leave and then he (Oredreth) took up the crown so he wasn't actually 'given' it?

Why are you discussing such things in a quiz thread?
Dunno Can anyone put up a question or do we wait?
Edit:
I have an easy one;
Who's son did Castamir murder and what was his name?

The only person who is supposed to put up a new question is the person who correctly answered the last one (in this case, me). The only reason I threw up a question out of turn before was the person who had the last correct answer hadn't posted anything in 2 and a half weeks, so I tossed up a question to revive the thread.
Anyway, my question:
Who were the three most prominent "burned dwarves"?
Btw, smoesville, Castamir murdered Ornendil, son of Eldacar.

Who were the people that went with Turin against Glaurung, and what were their fates?

Hunthor and Dorlas.
...a great stone hurtled from above and smote Hunthor on the head, and he fell into the
water......[Dorlas] aimed a blow at Brandir with his great fist, and
so ended his life, before the look of amazement left his eyes: for Brandir drew his sword and
hewed him his death-blow.

What far-reaching event took place in the year after Túrin was born?

Luthien returned Beren's love, and Beren undertook the quest to claim one Silmaril as a wedding gift for Luthien. Finrod dies in Tol Sirion that is soon afterwards cleaned, Celegorn and Curufin are banished from Nargothrond. And Brandir was born in Brethil...
If I remember correctly these are all that happened in that year...
The Easterling I think arrived one year before Turin's birth...
Let’s keep enjoying kings and wizards. But also remember to keep them where they belong.
Where they can do little harm.
Where they entertain us.
In fantasies...

I'm pretty sure that Curufin is right.
Almost there, though i may have overestimated the importance of the event I wasn't aware of all the events that occurred then.
