Let’s keep enjoying kings and wizards. But also remember to keep them where they belong.
Where they can do little harm.
Where they entertain us.
In fantasies...

Who was Gamil Zirak the Old, and who was his apprentice?
Gamli Zirak is also known as Telchar of Nogrod and the only Dwarf with a known Khuzdul name.
Nope, but you came close to the answer of the second question
I checked a wiki but I will not provide the answer. So, his name means Old Silver the old?
Tip: the only place I've found him is in one of the older texts
So, this question reeks of oldness?

List the all the Kings of Gondor who died in battle. Note: this only includes kings who were directly ruling Gondor at the time of their deaths (or at least actively contesting the throne), and who are unequivocally known to have died in battle.
Elendil (High King of both Gondor and Arnor), Isildur (same), Romendacil I (slain by easterlings), Ciryandil (died defending Umbar against Haradrim), Castamir the Usurper (killed by the real king when he retook Gondor with the help of northmen), Minardil (killed in Pelargir by corsairs), Ondoher (killed on the Dagorlad with both his sons when the Wainriders invaded Gondor). I guess one could count Eärnur as he rode to Minas Morgul to fight the Nazgul alone, but was killed
