Will this run shogun 2 total war on medium to high settings?

hey man, i run shogun 2 on med-high and i got 4gb ram, and a worse graphcs card, but your processor looks a bit weak, i run a 3.4ghz hex-core, so not sure how well 1.8ghz dual-core would run, but it would definitely run shogun on SOME level, even if its low

try low settings

everything looks decent except that CPU, you probably want >2.0 Ghz to get a decent frame rate. It's worth the upgrade though.

Cpu is underpowered. Do you have 30 to 60 minutes to wait for the game to load IF it does then?

@Ferdiad, he does have 4gb of ram of which is enough.

Graphics card, low-medium settings and don't buy the blood pack. Odds are will finis killing your system.

You are at the bottom of the specs to where it may not even play.

If you are bound and determined to play with a laptop/notebook, plan on spending more money and up the specs.

That mobility graphics is not even as good as what's in my desktop and it's only good for low with some medium since the FotS release.

Anything less than a 2.4 GHZ cpu is a bad joke and 3GHz will get you some battles.

The first one, discrete class graphics card is a joke. How much dedicated graphics memory in BIOS? If less than 512mb, it's not worth it.

The second one, the patch in December pushed using the i3 for graphics to obsolete and the HD Graphics 3000 has enough trouble with ETW much less FotS and the same idea of dedicated graphics memory as the one aboe.

I don't expect either one play this game foe long and not well when it does play.

Okay thanks for that but if I were to upgrade the graphics card..would it then be okay? Lowest settings are fine. For either of the specs
