GIMP update

I'm sorry if this is the wrong section.
I have updated GIMP to 2.8 and I am a bit frustrated with the sizes of brushes provided.

Does anyone know of Downloadable content or some trick in the program to fix this?

It's in the tool options. The thing that says size will do it.
