[proposal] railway on kyushu

ehi, compliments for this mod, i installed it the same day i bought FOTS and it's very funny to play .

but i think you can correct an error CA did , there aren't railways on kyushu !

i have my main base on south kyushu, full of military buildings, but it's almost useless becouse it's too far

is it a possibile mod?

Not possible. It would require changing the map which is impossible.

You could write it on their official forum. Doubt it would be implemented though.

The required tools for modding are not available. Warscape games can only be modded to a limited degree, and Shogun 2 even less than the previous two (empire and napoleon)
Every single mod you see in Darthmod is made out of small tweaks made with usermade programs. We can't create anything new.

it is technically impossible for modders to do this because maps on the warscape engine are locked.

as you say, its something that must have been considered by ca but its not an error because historically railroads didnt appear on kyushu until 1889 and not in the kagoshima area until the early 1900s (recall that the boshin war took place in 1868)

yes i know what you mean. at least the western clans have easier access to water though, so just rely more on your navy
