Ok... How to conquere Italy in less than 7 years when you play as Sicily??? Here is simple rules.1. Build only Town Militia (270$ per unit) in closest city to enemy, 8-9 units per turn2. Dont build anything else. 3. Assault every enemy city in second turn after starting your siege...4. City Management - 3xTown Militia and Very High Taxes5. Dont waste your time - Auto Combat is enough...Perfect Game Design...

its not about that dude,dont post this crap YOU HAVE TO LET THE AI BUILD UP A BIT if you want a challenge ,total war ai is stupid , i personaly dont attack the ai till it starts attacking me {except mabey the rebels} as your name states your a tw newbie , take your time , ITS NOT ABOUT HOW FAST YOU CAN SMOKE A CIGAR...... ITS ABOUT HOW LONG YOU CAN SAVOUR IT...

I personally don't see the point in playing total war games at all if I'm not going to role play at least a little bit. Set some limits to yourself. It's too easy to steamroll your way with cheap units.

I start to doubt what you say, especially since the HRE actually have pretty good stacks often stationed in North Italy, unless somehow you're military genius (or using some kind of cheat) who can beat Dismounted feudal knights in street combat with town militia (!!!), I doubt you can conquers Italy with Just them...

Members replies said it all, but i would like to add something. There is lots of mods, why not only one mod? because people have different tastes. Maybe RM isn't for you. Check RTW Hosted Modifications for the other mods, goodbye.

Hahahaha... Very fun... But now i think that complete mercenary system, where u can hire them in towns (not only in field) with only gold and 0 time cost, is very good idea... Look at RNJ 2.0
