    Welcome to the Hotseat Campaigns section of the Total War Center forums!

    For many years, people have been playing and enjoying hotseats, lately more and more people wish to participate, therefore, Jiub, Grouchy13, Tonno, Timur_the_Lame and myself (Desley) have decided to create a hotseat aimed at new players who wish to play a hotseat.

    Admins: Vipman and Jiub

    We shall be using the Retrofit Mod, which is a small and easy to download mod you can download it here: Retrofit Mod

    In the past we have noticed that people can get in fights and arguments over ingame situations. To make sure we all have an enjoyable Hotseat, we have made a set of rules. If you join this Hotseat you also accept to follow these rules, if you break a rule you will get an ingame punishment (disbanding of armies for example), if you break too many rules, you might be even removed from the Hotseat.



    Factions in turn order

    The Kingdom of Hungary : yuonyuon
    The Caliphate of the Moors : complete noob
    The Kingdom of Scotland : ebs
    The Dukedom of Poland : Dur3x
    The Kingdom of France : Axis Sunsoar
    The Fatimid Caliphate : complete noob


    Map Updates will be posted every 5 turns with a 3 turns delay.

    The Rules :
    Note: Rules are not applied against AI unless specified

    Battle rules:
    -Player vs Player battles must be auto resolved and screenshots posted as proof.
    -All defeated armies and navies must not be moved for 1 turn. (Taking army out of defeated ships is allowed)
    -No surrounding enemy army/navy with several single units to block it's retreat . Blocks of river crossings, bridges or choke points to cut the retreat is allowed if not in contact with the enemy army (which means the red zone around the enemy army)
    -No attacking ships inside a port. Ships can't enter or leave a blockaded port
    -It's not allowed to put armies and agents inside ships in a port, and if someone does that then it's allowed to attack the ships in the port.
    -Heroic victories are banned, if you get them, you must reload until you do not get a heroic victory.
    -You are not allowed to sally out if you are defeated.

    Agent rules:
    -Three spies are needed to open the gates of a settlement or a fort, screenshots required.
    -It is not allowed to spread the plague using spies
    -Only ONE merchant per resource; merchant fort or stack are not allowed
    -You can seize merchants assets only if they are in your regions or allied (as shown in diplomacy scroll).
    -Assassins can only kill other agents that are IN your territory. *Princesses are considered family members, not agents.

    Settlement rules:
    -Only Military Buildings may be destroyed and only if you have owned the settlement at least 3 turns. (Ports are not military buildings). It's not allowed to destroy buildings if the settlement is under siege or is at risk of capture (can be besieged in 1 turn)
    -Any regions that are gifted/sold/traded with another Faction must have all units (except 1 unit) immediately disbanded.

    Crusade rules:
    -Armies on crusade/jihad must use 2/3 of movement points towards its target. They may attack any army/fort of the target faction on the way to the target, but may not attack other cities/castles. Armies/forts of factions allied to the target faction may be attacked if directly blocking the path of movement. i.e a river crossing or mountain pass
    -Only one Jihad\Crusade army per faction is allowed

    Basic and other rules:
    -Only 2 forts per region are allowed.
    -It's not allowed to ally the pope
    -Players have 24h to play their turn. If you can't then give your password to an ally to sub you or to the admin. Or you can ask for an extension. Being frequently late with your turns can result in fines or being kicked from the hotseat.
    -You must notify the next player when his turn comes. Failing to do this can result in being fined.
    -Reloading is allowed
    -Any new player taking command of a faction previously held by another player cannot attack a faction he's officially allied with for at least 5 turns, or until the allies of that faction break the deal.
    -Rules are subject to change and/or updating. It is each players responsibility to keep themselves up to date with the rules.
    -It's not allowed to intentionally destroy your own faction. This includes but is not limited to moving your armies into obviously bad positions, gifting most of your regions to any other faction etc.
    -Using any exploit or bus f.e. the movement bug is not allowed
    -All players must use logic in deciding if their actions are considered an exploit or not. The admin has the final word on this. You agree on this when you join this hotseat.
    -Finally, the most important rule of all... HAVE FUN!

    Ah it seems I had made a mistake, I didn't notice the thing asking me to verify passwords... Sorry, I was quite tired at the time!

    turks are before the last one in turn order, and you have to wait almost 1 full turn until it's turks turn again, more exactly you'd have to wait for 10 players to play their turn first.

    Subbing would be good, but if I remember well he has a battle to fight.
    Now, is any of us in that good of a mood to fight a sige balttle.

    I don't know how others would feel about replaying turns for now hard reson.

    i've already turned turks human.
    it's up to you if he replays.
    i'm not sure if it's good to replay

    i didn't pm than in case you're wondering, i'm waiting for your opinion
