    Default A few adjusted Faction Names

    Good morning,

    Again Great mod, thanks for sharing.

    I would like to change a few faction names for the Early Period game. Does anyone know exactly which \data\text files that need to be changed ? (expanded, early, 1, 2, etc.) Thanks

    Ask this Question in the mod workshop under text files. More qualified ppl will help you there.

    he knows which file, but for this mod there are more. like he said it's the expanded file, but there are 5 of them named expanded_early, expanded_early1 and up to nr4... it seems there is 1 file for each event, as there are 3-4 events for early era that must be selected in the launcher.

    so the answer is you need to edit all the expanded_early files of which you don't like the faction names

    Thanks vip, changed the names on all of them and deleted the string.bin files, no effect. Hard Coded ?

    it can't be hardcoded if it's modded in this mod
    or i understanded something else...

    well some basic stuff comes to mind: you edited the names only outside the brackets, right? only the "fancy" names
    did you re-selected the era in the launcher instead of pressing k for keep?
    did you start a new campaign? actually it should be save-compatible, nevermind...
