Default Drawing Musket Lines with UAI

As much as i love the UAI compared to vanilla's brain dead one. I kind of wish the AI could draw musket lines and fire on my men instead of charging my lines WWI trench style. Is there any other AI out there that is compatible with LME that could do that?

Whenever I play LME, they do exchange musket fire instead of charging, what battle difficulty do you play with?

No, although it will probably not crash (CTD).

I've found that if you play on easy/normal you get more musket fire out of musket troops.
But thats in vanilla ntw.. not sure about here. i usualy play on hard/vh and i get said problem. sad :/
Would be nice if the ai just did not charge untill it was out of ammo or something similar. you could get much longer and much more hurty battles out of them. i mean, most of my armies are usualy veteranned to hell, and in melee..well.. they are quite good to say the least.

Many commanders felt that shooting few rounds and charging with the bayonets was a lot more productive than engaging in prolonged firefights.

hmm, in my games they always march up right up close and then begin firing devastating volleys

its only after routing that they come back and fight defensive shootouts
